This is at first sight "yet another book about Gallipoli". But this very comprehensive treatment - there are over 800 pages - is important, and deserves its place in the Collection, because it is a modern Australian account of the campaign. Gallipoli was, after all, to a considerable extent an ANZAC undertaking; not to take anything away from other nation's contributions.
