Miss Cavell Was Shot: The Diaries of Amy Hodson 1914 - 1920

Monica Kendall has transcribed the diaries of this young girl to give us a picture of life in occupied Belgium during the war. The reference to Cavell, basically, is just that: it formed one of the entries in the diary and nothing more. The picture drawn by the diary entries is much more wide ranging than that.
