This is an account of the nine British and nine American divisions which fought under French command in the Battle of The Aisne and then in The Second Battle of The Marne in 1918. Any well researched book on Second Marne is welcome, this one is well written and researched by an author who was an infantry officer, so despite the gulf in time between the two periods, Takle is an compelling writer. This is a valuable contribution to The Collection.
