This book was first published in 2009. This is a considered and academically sound account of the Easter Rising - the Collection is keen to add to what it has on this episode, which probably passed less noticed by the Irish than the protagonists had hoped for, that is until the British imposed their savage finale, thus helping the cause of Irish independence enormously.
