This is a Naval & Military Press co publication with the IWM. Because of this, there is little help in establishing some of the detail about the publication, notably its original date of issue. Perhaps one day we will be able to find (& afford!!!) a copy of the original.....Nevertheless, the book is a useful addition to The Collection. There is an Introduction by Brigadier-General Sir James E Edmonds, Director of the Historical Section (Military Branch).
