Who would have thought that such a lovely book, interspersing poems and art of the Great War, would be found in a Garden Centre? But that is where we sourced this book from. It is significant because it presents poetry and art by not only British but also Irish, Australian, Canadian, French, and importantly German writers and painters. This is much more than a coffee table book it might at first glance appear to be.
