The History of The King's Shropshire Light Infantry in The Great War, 1914 - 1918

There were 8 battalions of this regiment which saw active service during the war. These were the 1st and 2nd (Regulars), 1/4th (Territorials), 5th, 6th, 7th snd 8th (Service), and 10th (Service, formerly Shropshire and Cheshire Yeomanry). The book is written/edited by a serving officer who was in the 7th Battalion. It is fairly standard for a regimental history, but the KSLI tended to be outside the well known names of regiments; for all that, perhaps this is a more interesting story than most.
