Papers From Picardy By Two Chaplains
This book was co-authored by Pym, and The Reverend G. Gordon, latterly the Bishop of Jarrow.
The book was written primarily during the fighting on the Somme in the summer and autumn of 1916, but it also draws on experiences gained in Flanders and in a military hospital at home. The book is a series of "papers" which discuss|: The Effects of the War, The Soldiers' Attitude to the War, Discipline, and the Chaplain's Dilemma, amongst other subjects.
The book was also published by Mifflin Houghton in Boston, in the same year.
