The Indian Corps on The Western Front. A Handbook and Battlefield Guide

Two authors are credited here, Tom Donovan and Simon Doherty but we do not know anything about Doherty, save that he was the one who took the photos (see below). He may only have contributed with the images, or actually co-authored the book. Whatever, this is an invaluable book, tracing the Indian Corps on the Western Front in 1914 and 1915.The book describes the structure of the Indian Army and traces its presence during the first part of the war, before it was moved to other theatres. There are plenty of really good maps to help the reader, and a lot of images, most of which are of the current scene - quite a new approach here.
