This book was first published in 1929, although the publisher is unknown. The version we have is Naval & Military's facsimile copy of the original, but the usual flyleaf with the publication date, etc., is missing, for some unknown reason.
The book can be regarded as the definitive account of the Army Ordnance Services in the war. It covers the Western Front, and then all the other theatres of war - wherever in the world - where British troops were involved.
