British Women's Work During The Great War. With a List of Women who Died on Active Service

This book was published in association with The Imperial War Museum. There are 27 pages of narrative about the role of women in the war, then there are another 27 pages with the names of women who died on active service, with the sector they were working in: e.g., the various nursing services, including the Dominion ones, munition workers, etc. The book is a facsimile of typewritten pages; it is silent as to who compiled it but it would have been, presumably, some Government Department. The date of original publication is unknown.
