Against All Odds. Walter Tull. The Black Lieutenant

This is a book about Walter Tull, but as well as being about the first black officer in the British Army, it is also about footballers who joined the colours during the war. But it probably belongs in the category we have placed it in, rather than the categories for either "Sporting Associations", or "Biographies". The book is written in an easy to read style and tells Tull's (and the other footballers@) stories well.
