The Battle of Jutland. The Sowing and the Reaping.
This book is both a description of the battle itself, but that is encapsulated in secondly a critique of the Navy in general, and specifically of the nature of Jellicoe's despatches relating to the battle.
The author viewed these despatches as misleading, to the extent of withholding the truth.
He describes the battle as one of the war's great mysteries.
Thus this book is an unusual one which may well be of some significance for students of the naval war.
