Robert Graves. From Great War Poet to Goodbye To All That. 1895 - 1929

This is a new biography of Graves. The poet suppressed virtually all the poems he had published during and after the war for many years, indeed it was not until 1988 when his son published them that they came to light again. In the meantime, Graves was best known for his "Goodbye To All That". This book is the first real attempt to deal with this paradox in any depth.
