This book was first published in 1927, we have no details of publisher. Also, the author presently defies investigation, save that he was a Royal Marine himself.
This is a very large book, both in format (A4 size) and number of pages at 500. In other words, it is a massive book.
It appears to deal with every theatre of war where the Marines fought. The text is very detailed, there are numerous photographs, maps and tables in the book itself, and then at the end there are a number of whole pages devoted to maps of the theatres of war where the Marines were.
As a book of reference it appears to be excellent.
