This is a 167 page narrative followed by 55 pages of line drawings of naval vessels associated with the book's story, and many images of both ships and individuals - including, for instance, one of Admiral Kolchak actually as a naval officer!
The author was a naval officer in the Royal Australian Navy so he brings a degree of professionalism to his story, despite being an amateur naval historian. The story itself is exactly as described in the title - mainly, of course, from the Russian angle.
Given that this is an extremely rare subject, the book is a valuable addition to the Collection.
