This book has a Foreword by Dennis Showalter. It is from British publishers but is by American authors.
It is an oversize book which gives the reader exactly what is described in the title. There are many images and maps/diagrams to support an extensive text.
Some might deprecate the book somewhat because its appearance is is of a book perhaps aimed at a very amateur military historian, but it is better than that; it would be ideal for a researcher/student visiting the subject of the Eastern Front for the first time.
