In November 1918, the British Army had 3.75 million personnel. One year later, that figure had been reduced to 890,000. This book is the story of that demobilisation. This subject has been very poorly supported by books, articles, whatever. But it was a massive achievement, completed not without problems along the way. The story of the war is not complete without addressing this subject.
