This book has a Foreword by The Right Hon. William Deedes, who joined The Morning Post in 1931 and retired as Editor of The Daily Telegraph in 1986. He was, of course, the "Bill" in Private Eye's "Dear Bill" column. The book is a curated selection of letters between H.A. Gwynne, the Editor of The Morning Post during the Great War, and Lady Bathurst, his Proprietor.
