War in the Garden of Eden

This book was originally published in 1918 by Charles Scribner's Sons, Baltimore. It is an entertaining description of the parts of Mesopotamia, and the action, which Roosevelt saw -The Tigris Front, Babylon, The Kurdish Front, The Advance on the Euphrates, Baghdad, The Persian Front, and back through Palestine. The book finishes with his story of being with the 1st (US) Division in France and Germany.
