Professor Gary Sheffield (British)
Sheffield read History at Leeds University and was awarded a Masters Degree for research into World War 1. Later he was a Senior Lecturer in Defence Studies at Kings College London, (where he attained his doctorate) and was also based at the Joint Services Command and Staff College. He published many books on military history.
