Professor. Nick Lloyd (British)

Lloyd was Professor in Modern Warfare at Kings College, London, and was based at both the Royal Air Force College at Cranwell and the Joint Services Command and Staff College at Shrivenham, Wiltshire. He completed his Ph.D. on the Battle of Loos at the University of Birmingham. When he published his magisterial account of the Eastern Front in the War in 2024, he was already a highly respected military historian with an especial interest in this period.
