A.R. Weyl

Weyl was a Permanent Assistant to the Professor of Aeronautical Engineering at the Technical University of Berlin; then he worked at the German Defence Ministry until his arrest by the Nazis in 1933. He subsequently escaped to Britain and began a new career as a test pilot and engineering consultant. He died in 1959.
