Lieutenant-General G.N. Molesworth CSI, CBE

Molesworth spent 12 years as a regimental officer on the North-West Frontier. He served with the Somerset Light Infantry through the Third Afghan War, going later as Deputy Assistant Adjutant-General at Indian Army H.Q. He then transferred to the 25th Punjabis in the Indian Army. He then undertook various staff posts. He retired in 1946 after completing his service as Military Secretary and Adviser to the Secretary of State for India in World War Two.
