Alexis Wrangel

Wrangel was the son of Piotr Nikolayevich Wrangel, the Russian Cavalry Commander of the First World War. He was, himself, an authority on horsemanship - he wrote one of the standard texts on the subject - and he was also a gifted practitioner in the craft of oral history. He was educated in both the UK and the USA.
