Damien Wright
Wright maintained an interest in military matters since when, in his early childhood, he was shown a photograph of his grandfather in Australian Light Horse uniform, and then he was allowed to take his Grandfather's medals to school.
His interest in the Allied Intervention in Russia stemmed from his noticing an anomaly in the award of two VCs to Australians which were listed separately from The Great War. From this point, he developed an interest in, especially, the Intervention, and the book about "Churchill's secret war with Lenin" was the result.
