Lieutenant-Colonel H.S. Wood

Wood was a self-confessed Victorian who saw service in India as Medical Officer in the 2nd/8th Gurkhas, and during the Great War as Officer in Charge of No.9 Indian General Hospital in Basra, ending his career as a civil surgeon in Assam.
