Brigadier Peter Mead

Mead was a Brigadier serving in the British Army from 1931 until 1964. He was greatly involved in air reconnaissance. He took part in the 1935 autogiro trials, he was Air Staff Officer at Chindit HQ in 1944, and later qualified as an Air O.P. pilot. After the war, he concluded his career as Head of the Army Air Corps.
