Professor David F. Trask
Trask was a former Chief Historian of the U.S. Army Center of Military History, and a former Professor of History at the State University of New York, although he appeared to be at Wesleyan University in Connecticut at the time his book on the Supreme Council was published.
He had authored other books on military history.
