"Happy Days": A Humorous Narrative in Drawings of the Progress of American Arms, 1917 - 1919

First published in 1928 by The Society of the First Division. Butler was obviously an American equivalent of Bairnsfather, although his cartoons are markedly different. They tell an interesting story of the U.S. contribution to the War.
