Egypt and The Army

This book describes the attitude of the Egyptians at the beginning of the war, and the dissension amongst them at the war's end. In between, Elgood describes such matters as the Canal, Martial Law, the Turkish attack on the Canal, Armenian refugees, the Desert Campaigns, the Civil Administration, and so on. A very interesting book.
