This is the third in the series of four separate volumes by Buttar on the war on the Eastern Front. Given that the Eastern Front is very much in the shadow of the huge interest in the Western Front, and yet was a crucial theatre for all sorts of reasons, Prittar's work in this area is very much to be welcomed; and all the more so because of the scholarly but approachable manner in which he delivers.
