There are four sections in this book: The South African War 1899 - 1902; Malta, 1903 to Outbreak of War 1914; First World War to Victory Camp, 1914 - 1919; and Scouting, 1919 - 1929. Whilst three of the sections make for fascinating reading, it is the section on the Great War which is relevant to The Collection. The book is written by a serving officer who saw and participated, and developed, sniping on the Western Front.
