From Bapaume to Passchendaele 1917. Describing The Heroic Actions of The Follwing Regiments (there follwed a list of over 70 different regiments)
This is a valuable book because it was written by an accredited war correspondent, whose work was censored by C.E. Montague, formerly of The Manchester Guardian. For all that, this book is stuffed full of interesting accounts and descriptions which one does not generally find in a modern book. For this reason, it is a significant book and should be especially interesting to researchers.
