This is a scholarly study of the first "Blitz" which the German Air Force sustained towards the war's end, and how it led to the creation of the Royal Air Force. There are plenty of interesting images in the book, and also a number of tables which, together with the clear text, researchers may find useful. For a book which is over 50 years old at the time of adding it into The Collection, it is still extremely relevant.
