This book was originally published in 1966 by George Allen & Unwin, London, shortly after the author had died. The climate at that time was not particularly good for a defensive book on Haig. However, times have changed, and Haig's reputation has also changed as a result. And this book is particularly appropriate for the Collection to have, given Duncan's connections with St. Andrews.
