Devil Dogs. Fighting Marines of World War 1

This is the full story of the U.S. Marine Corps in the First World War. It covers all of the battles and actions that the Marines were involved in. There were only two brigades of Marines in the AEF, and only one of those actually saw action, but as the author proposes, they made a contribution out of all proportion to their total. They were part of the 2nd Division, and were engaged in seven distinct engagements during the last eight months of the war.
